I discovered my passion for business this year through my school’s entrepreneurship program. I learned valuable public speaking skills and met mentors. I plan to pursue my company, take more entrepreneurship classes, and learn all I can about business.
I liked the Veale Venture Challenge a lot, especially presenting my ideas to a huge audience and promoting my business to new people.
The Veale Venture Challenge dramatically helped with public speaking, which is something you need now in high school, but especially later on in your career.

The executive coaches were enthusiastic and gave useful and critical suggestions to improve student plans and presentations! The judges at the final competition were very experienced and offered excellent questions to the students.
The mentors were extremely helpful and provided critical insights on our thought processes, future plans, financials, and especially the structure of our slide deck.
I learned in class what it takes to get into business. I will always remember that. Without it, my business and I would not be where we are today.
This program really exposed the dedication and hard work that the people of Northeast Ohio put into making their own independent businesses and giving back to the community.
