The mentors were phenomenal and gave us great advice for the Pitchfest and life in general.
I had a great experience and it was a lot of fun, especially the prizes. I got a lot of useful tips about public speaking. I definitely will convince my friends to participate next year.
I keep coming back to the Young Entrepreneur Market and it’s one of my favorite things to do. I love seeing a customer’s face light up and getting satisfaction from selling something. I love that feeling.
For my daughter, entering and winning the Business Plan Competition has better prepared her for life than most any other experience.
I learned a ton through the Veale Venture Challenge and got to work with and learn from some very amazing individuals.
I learned in class what it takes to get into business. I will always remember that. Without it, my business and I would not be where we are today.
I would tell my friends to enter the Veale Pitchfest competition because there are so many things that can be learned from it, not just about business, but about life.
The Veale Youth Entrepreneurship Forum has allowed Beaumont School to offer programs that would not otherwise be offered due to cost. Every student is eligible to participate no matter what her financial situation. The guidance and support we receive has encouraged us to explore new opportunities for our girls and do our best to reach every student at Beaumont, showing each girl the possibilities of business and entrepreneurship.
It was really fun to connect with students from different schools and come together as a team to participate in all the Pitchfest activities.
I realized while attending Veale Startup Week: The Business of 3D Printing that even a high schooler can come up with a million dollar idea.
I liked Executive Coaching Day a lot. I got feedback from people who don’t just study business, but who actually run them for a living.
At Veale Startup Week, I learned that it’s worth it to take risks and devote your time to something that may or may not work out in the end.
It was a great experience and I am glad I did it. It was cool to talk to the accomplished men who came back to our school as coaches, mentors, and judges.
The best part of the Veale Pitchfest was hearing everyone’s personal ideas and then coming together as a team to create the overall pitch.
From the introductions to the awards presentations, the Veale Pitchfest was great. The collaborations formed made the experience that much better.
By taking part in these programs my skills and understanding of the business world have deepened, giving me a head start on a business major in college.
I love the challenge of the Business Plan Competition and the energy from being inspired from working with other entrepreneurs.
I’ve learned to never give up, even if you fail.
I had a great time at the Veale Pitchfest and learned even more about entrepreneurship. Great opportunity!
Even those who are not specifically interested in entrepreneurship would pick up valuable communication skills at Veale Pitchfest, especially through the team building exercises.
